Over the years, we’ve had many different team events, ranging from Dave & Buster’s to a Gulls hockey game to beach day. There is one event, however, we keep coming back to because it is always a crowd-pleaser. After all, it is America’s favorite pastime: baseball!
We headed to a Padres game at Petco Park, where they squared off against the San Francisco Giants. This year, we chose prime seats along the first-base line to watch the game. While half of us are absolutely clueless about the sport and go to the game purely for the fun and social atmosphere, there was no denying that these were some great seats.
Some of us got really into the game.
Others were just there for the food.
TCG provided all of us with Friar Funds that could be used at the food and drink vendors throughout the park. We got kettle corn, craft beer, Phil’s BBQ, and more.
As we chowed down, we took in the breathtaking views of downtown San Diego that Petco Park is famous for. Not a bad way to end the day. We had a great time at the game, despite the Padres losing, and we’re already looking forward to our next Padres game!
